As a writer for nationally known consumer and trade publications, I’ve explored the worlds of agriculture, art, business, design, education, entertainment, fashion, food, health, nutrition, religion, sports, and travel. I developed a particular expertise in Italian culture, and received a Distinguished Service Award from the Italian Trade Commission for enduring commitment and contribution to Italian food. I’ve also lectured on ethnic culinary traditions, Sicilian folklore, and other topics for academic and community groups.
Proficient in recasting jargon into reader-friendly content and helping non-native speakers of English convey their message to an American audience, I’ve improved the readability and efficacy of written communications for such clients as The Rockefeller Group, Cushman & Wakefield, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and John
